What applies at any Ras Al Khaimah beach
Three rules hold wherever you take a dog in the UAE, whatever an individual beach permits.
Breed restrictions are federal. Under Federal Law No. 22 of 2016 several breeds are classed as dangerous animals nationwide, including pit bull types, Rottweilers, Doberman Pinschers and Boxers. No individual beach in Ras Al Khaimah can waive that, and a beach describing itself as dog-friendly is not making a statement about your breed.
Assume a leash. Where we cannot confirm a beach’s own rule, the safe default is a lead, and it is what every unconfirmed page on this site tells you to do. A confirmed off-leash beach is the exception rather than the norm.
The season decides more than the beach does. The UAE beach season runs October to April. Outside it, sunrise or after sunset only, and the sand is the hazard rather than the air — press the back of your hand to it for five seconds before letting a dog walk on it.
