Dubai Islands Beach
The only officially designated dog beach in Dubai.
Al Hamra Beach
Marina and yacht club with dog-friendly restaurants. The operator's own listing says dogs can swim, which we have not independently confirmed.
Banan Beach
Dogs swim, and there is a grooming salon on site.
Kite Beach Abu Dhabi
Dogs are tolerated here, though not officially designated, in Abu Dhabi City.
Yas Beach
Dogs are tolerated here, though not officially designated, in Yas Island.
Ajman Corniche Beach
Long corniche promenade and beach. Press reports say leashed dogs are accepted, which we have not independently confirmed.

If dogs are allowed on the beach, can they swim?
Not necessarily. Being allowed on the sand and being allowed in the sea are separate permissions, granted separately, and one does not imply the other. It is the field sources most often leave unstated, which is why we never infer it.
Is the sea safe for dogs in the UAE?
Salt water needs rinsing off afterwards, and summer sea temperatures plus hot sand are the bigger risk than the water itself. The beach season runs October to April; outside it, go at sunrise or after sunset only.
