A beach allowing dogs and a hotel on that beach allowing dogs overnight are two separate policies, and most guides blur them together. We have checked hotel-by-hotel for exactly one beach so far. Both hotels said no.
Every other UAE beach hotel is an open question, not a confirmed “no” — we have simply not made the call yet.

We have checked hotel by hotel for one beach so far. All five resorts on Al Aqah Beach refuse pets — though only two of those five publish a pet policy on their own website; the rest rest on aggregators, and we say so per row. Every other UAE beach hotel is an open question rather than a confirmed no — we have simply not made the calls yet, and we would rather publish a short checked list later than a long guessed one now.
If a beach allows dogs, can I stay at the hotel on it?
Not necessarily, and this is the distinction most guides blur. A beach's dog policy and the pet policy of a hotel sitting on that beach are two separate decisions made by two different parties. Al Aqah Beach allows leashed dogs while both resorts on it refuse them.
Why is this list so short?
Because it contains only what we have actually verified with the operator. A hotel appears here when its own stated pet policy has been checked, not when a directory lists it as pet-friendly. That makes the page small and makes what is on it reliable.
