Aldar's Yas Point development does not cover this spot: Aldar places it "at the northernmost point of Yas Island", about 3 km north-east, while the Iron Bridge sits on the island's western edge at the Fahid Island boundary. The open question is Fahid Island instead, Aldar's separate 2.7 million sqm project with handovers around 2029, because the kite and fishing area is reached by walking west across the bridge onto Fahid Island itself. The last dated report we can find is January 2026, when anglers described spending the day at the bridge. Treat access as unverified and check before travelling.

A Google review reading 'R.ip iron bridge', posted around November 2025, is unexplained and uncorroborated. Ten-second check on site at 24.5070/54.5741: can you park at the foot of the bridge and walk across, or is there hoarding or Fahid Island construction signage?

Under Federal Law No. 22 of 2016 several breeds are classed as dangerous animals nationwide, so check the UAE banned dog breeds list before you travel. The beach season runs October to April — outside it, go at sunrise or after sunset, and read up on hot sand and paw safety, because sand can burn paw pads within seconds. Press the back of your hand to the sand for five seconds: if you cannot hold it there, your dog cannot walk on it. Pack for the heat using the dog beach gear list, and assume a leash is mandatory unless this page says otherwise.
